SanTan Brewing Company Releases ‘Rising Hope IPA’ To Help Fund Pediatric Cancer Research
CHANDLER, Arizona (May 9, 2022) – As American Craft Beer Week kicks off, SanTan Brewing Company is partnering with Brewing Funds the Cure to launch “Rising Hope IPA,” with 100 percent of the proceeds from the new brew to be donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
The Brewing Funds the Cure initiative allows the passion and creativity from the brewing industry nationwide to help fund critical research in collaboration with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The signature program for Brewing Funds the Cure is the annual release of Rising Hope.
Now in its third year, the goal of the program is to have one brewery in each state produce the iconic Rising Hope IPA. In the first two years of the release of Rising Hope, craft brewing partners across the country have raised more than $325,000 for pediatric cancer research.
SanTan is the only Arizona brewery to participate in the program this year. While supplies last, Arizona residents can enjoy a HAZY IPA with passion fruit, orange, and guava while funding research for childhood cancer. The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation funds research to find less toxic, more targeted treatments for children battling cancer.
“We’ve been honored to partner with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to help fund research to find less toxic, more targeted treatments for children battling cancer,” said Gabe Wilson, Head Brewer with SanTan Brewing Company. “With each Rising Hope IPA sold, we will contribute 100 percent of proceeds to their research and to help kids fight cancer. Our mission is always to create ‘Uncommon Quality for Everyday Occasions,’ but this is a really special occasion for us where we hope to make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer.”
Customers may enjoy the new brew exclusively at SanTan Brewing Company’s downtown Chandler location. Those interested in making an additional donation may send funds to @pediatriccancer on Vemno or visit nationalpcf.org.
Some key stats surrounding pediatric cancer include:
