The Jack is bringing decades of rock & roll experience up from Tucson for a full-throttle tribute to AC/DC at SanTan Gardens.
This isn’t a band that recently discovered a few AC/DC records and bought matching outfits. Frontman Brian Bon Scott Johnson has been playing AC/DC songs since the band’s early days, first adding “Live Wire” to his own band’s sets after discovering AC/DC in 1976. He’s joined by a lineup of seasoned Arizona musicians, including award-winning classical guitarist turned heavy-metal shredder Gonzalo Molano, longtime Tucson musician Milton Cox, bassist David Kurowski, and drummer Sean Mausert.
Together, The Jack takes on both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras with a setlist that digs well beyond the obvious hits. Expect everything from “Back in Black,” “Highway to Hell” and “Thunderstruck” to “Live Wire,” “Jailbreak,” “Sin City,” “Whole Lotta Rosie” and plenty more.
The Jack’s philosophy is pretty simple: have fun and play AC/DC the way AC/DC should be played.
